I would like to further enhance everyone’s research skills by directing people to the Qld State governments website.
This is by no means financial advice, it’s merely attempting to understand what is going on behind the scenes (if we can determine this).
The QLD state government publish meeting diaries each month which is freely available to all of those who are interested.
Let’s work backwards here to unravel the mysteries of AUZ.
15th July AUZ announced it had secured QLD funding based on a number of conditions
-The Ann included a quote from Glenn Butcher (QLD minister for Regional Development)
14th July – State Government meeting diaries show the following:
Glenn Butcher (QLD Minister for Regional Development) met with the member for Traegar (Robbie Katter – who is an independent). Why is this important? Well he’s the member for Greenvale where sconi is located
Glenn Butcher (QLD Minister for Regional Development) also then met on the sameday “Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility representatives and other departmental staff (interesting hey?)
On the sameday:
Cameron Dick (QLD Minister of Treasury, State Development, Mining and Infrastructure) met with Kate Jones (Another minister) and the member for Mundingburra (Townsville Labour member)
Kate Jones (QLD Minister of Innovation, Tourism) also met with NAIF CEO with other ministerial staff.
I’m wondering what is at play here? Something for us at AUZ? Or something else… just food for thought…all this a day before our QLD support package???
