Why do people from the left always want to throw more money at a problem. The problem with Qld transport has nothing to do with money, it has to do with competence. The transport system is overspending on overtime due to lack of competent staff management and recruiting. It also has created timetables that don’t link up and has chronic maintenance issues. The education system doesn’t lack money as well. It is the syllabus which is about indoctrination and activism rather than teaching. They teach kids there are 80 genders, Australia is terrible, socialism is great, gender is fluid. They have multiple days to show activism about refugees, LGTBIQ, climate change, yet can’t do math, write a paper, and don’t know capitals of most countries. They need to stop activism, tell our kids how lucky they are to be in a great country like Australia, and stick to teaching basics. We are rated much lower in world rankings than countries who spend less than us per student.

Competence is required and focus, not more money.
