i wonder what affect the just announced new rules wrt mining and O&G will have on the sale process of the MPo Mungi assets.
it seems the new rules in Qld will quarantine areas of land which are deemed to be arable land.
land which is in certain areas will be classified, and mining (and csg extraction) will be banned, or tightly controlled.
it seems that existing developments will be exempted.
so i would assume that Mungo would be OK? not sure about drilling further wells on permit though?
i always thought that area was on land which was not deemed prime agricultural land?

these changes cannot be good for both the potential buyers and the seller.

whatever the specifics, i think its further going to muddy the CSG road, and thats not good for the sales process.
