'Concord Repatriation Hospital, a major hospital in Sydney, offering a comprehensive range of specialty and sub-specialty services, many recognized nationally and internationally as centers of excellence, has placed an order with forecast sales revenue upward of $500,000 per annum. Concord is a teaching hospital of Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney. This order, a result of an extensive 6 month clinical evaluation of the safety and time saving features of the AutoStart Burette, has resulted in their most substantial change in IV practices in 16 years.'
This is the announcement from the quarterly report after ALT secured Concord. It says an extensive 6 month evaluation occurred.
Given the last announcement we had about a major QLD hospital currently trialling the burette was in November, it has only been 5 months. Who knows when the trial began for the QLD hospital, but if it was only in November, then it's not surprising there has been no announcement. Plus the directors said that a NSW hospital was scheduled for the new year. That means it is only starting in 2012. Maybe over the next month or so, since it will have been 6 months for the QLD hospital trial, we can hope for a positive announcement. And then just before the ALTO's are due, the company will hopefully announce another NSW hospital on board.
Maybe the trials (if successful) are all 'coincidentally' coinciding to be announced just before the ALTO's?
