what a joke from the ACF 'uranium mining has no place in Queensland'. Why ? 'cos there's heaps of coal mining .. which the ACF supports does it ? uranium mining would of course be excellent for Queensland's economy and probably be environmentally superior to coal mining (at least the use of the end product is) .. QLD is involved in a game of bluff with the Feds .. a good cop, bad cop routine where QLD will extract some Fed kick-back (eg a bunch of new infrastructure/GST funding) in order to bring their u3o8 mining policy into line with Fed Labor ... which it should do anyway to provide jobs for surplus coal mine workers .. all imho ..
