I've been watching Rugby League for over 45 years.
I really am at a loss to comprehend how a forward pass which wins the game can go unchallenged!
In all honesty, the Queensland teams' forward pass which won the game was a gift directly from the referee!
I am disgusted by the blatant disregard. Not even a check by the video ref !
What surprised me even more was the lack of ANY adverse commentary on that event by the so called experts, Sterlo; Fatty; Matty; Rabbs; Gus;etc AFTER the game.
All the commentators at the time of the offence said it was a blatant forward pass. Yes, I hear you say. But it's over and the Cane Toads won.
Bull sh*t!
This, in Rugby League terms is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice of all time!
NSW deserved to win and could have without this unfortunate miscarriage of justice in the greatest game of all!
I love the game, and am extremely dissapointed with a loss to a passionate team, thanks to a stupid / dare I say contrived, mistake by the referee.
As a real afficianado of the game, I do know what I am talking about. It is not sour grapes!
It is a fact of the game that the ref made a fatal call!
Of course we can now expect NSW to limp over the line in game 3 in Melbourne as pre determined !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame, Shame, Shammmmmmmmmmm!
