I think games are being played by Rudd & Beattie.
Important thing here though is that if there is a resolution to leave it up to the states it would appear Beattie will continue the ban on U mining, as will WA.
Now Rudd won't want this to occur. He will need to look decisive, assertive and in control on this matter when they walk out of that conference come end of April.
I just can't see it happening that there will be a resolution to leave it up to the states. This augers well for U companies with Qld and in particular, WA resources.
A resolution not to leave it up to the states and take control of the matter federally might mean Rudd won't win the seats he needs in WA. WA is what will the election for Rudd....many commentators have noted this.
Hmmmm......what ever happens I'm sure we will all be on the edge of our seats come end of April.
