    gmt, the supplier of the troublesome Vic speed cameras was Poltech and they are in receivership. Poltech was not even ISO accredited and the Vic Govt bought on price and favours sought. The dogs have been barking for years and the Vic Govt was put on notice ages ago but chose to ignore it.
    They're in a real pickle as they have these bodgy cameras, the only real solution is to rip them out and put in Redflex cameras as I doubt that any respectable company would take on a maintainance contract for the present cameras.
    Redflex have made an ASX announcement clearly stating their cameras have not had any problems, they should now have a good run in the Australian market as hopefully all State Governments will now look for quality ahead of price and long lunches.
