S8 hate to explode another myth, organic farmers use pesticides as well, just ones that are certified for use (and they are still truly evil & sometimes cause worse damage to beneficial insects than commercial organic uncertified applications), also depending on the certifing body some are banned some are not.
All commercial grown vegies use pesticides, only way to avoid it is grow your own & allow for major crop loss,


And just to complicate things more produce from farmers markets is not necessarily better as they may never get random tests done on their veg by governing bodies so they could be selling within holding periods after pesticide application. If its organic ask for their certifcation docs
