Hi GG - agree there is no point in arguing on either side of partisan politics, especially ALP/LNP who have simiilar deficiencies. It was reported today that this is widely regarded as true among our international colleagues. In fact neither major party has a clear agenda to improve carbon emissions, which is unfortunate in a lot of ways. The recent IEA report had a nice graph that showed revenue from coal declining sharply, neither party is addressing that one it seems.

I've held the view for a while that in Australia these projects will get developed with or without federal government help, because of the economics and the shift in private equity away from coal and gas.
