Agree that the focus should be on production first as delays would impact economics and reputation (more so, when QPM would be in expansion mode). Currently, the company is in an excellent position to deliver and, as you said, would be foolish to jeopardise this.
Still, with the promotion of the Dr. to MD and John Downie becoming Executive Director it crossed my mind that this change would facilitate any venture into other production facilities. Just strategic positioning at this stage. There were other reasons for the promotion as well, obviously.
