    The fact that QPM spent over $100M on engineering for the project, and also decided to forgo the aluminium hydroxide precipitated from the DNi ProcessTM to be utilised as feedstock for the HPA refinery, show the Altilium process needs rather significant tweaking, reflecting the unique chemistry for for each individual project and its ore body/s.

    Altium's royalties were bundled into the section below, and the OPEX table second below showed they were pretty substantial.

    Given as @sandfire has indicated the patent expires in 2029, perhaps TECH 2.0 with a quite different flowsheet from the one in the Altilium manual will benefit from significant savings in the royalties space?
