Does that include Tesla's? It's been said that Chinese EV manufacturers will absorb the tariffs, and still outcompete the Europeans and America EV manufacturers. Ford's EV division has been an unmitigated disaster, and German and other car manufacturers are shutting down production in Germany which will have massive flow on effects to adjoining countries that have many jobs in manufacturing for German cars. Another unintended consequence of loss of cheap Russian energy. Germany, like Tesla, manufactures a lot of cars in China and is very dependant on China cars sales ..... this could get very ugly. Tit for tat trade sanctions will not end well, and will cause a surge in inflation yet again. The downturn in Chinese imports from Indonesia has more to do with the downturn in the Chinese and world economy ?? Australia will be hurt badly by a trade war with China .... with friends like a Trump lead IOUSA, who needs enemies ?? If you want TECH to succeed , make the Chinese partners ..... Trump would be happy if QPM sold TECH to Texas .... for pennies in the pound ! Perhaps POSCO might rescue it if its products got USA preference over China ?? TECH is a technophile wet dream, and won't see any more light .... unless Elon Musk becomes CEO ?? (that's my dream)
