One of the cornerstone investment ideas in the QPM story, is the attraction of using "fugitive methane" from coal mines that is currently flared.
Is there a single instance of where this "fugitive gas" is being collected and diverted to some industrial or domestic gas use ?
Is this feasible - are gas pipelines in existence ?
QPM has so many technological and geopolitical issues that seemed like a good idea in the battery mania period, but now has doubters.
Much is made of POSCO and other 'off take' agreements but that if the plant becomes a reality - they mean nothing till such time.
BUT even at these depressed SP's the market cap is still A$156m - how much of that is real assets and how much conceptual assets ?
With the eye watering high amounts of capex required, the prospect of monumental share dilution remains a possibility and hence 10c may not be such a bargain, even if things progress ?? Perhaps if Anastasia became a major backer with some hard cash, the SP could transforms before the inevitable CR ??
