I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but a company with a market cap of $170 million has never raised $2 billion dollars from scratch in order to build a project, never in the history of the ASX.

It's simply never been done before, because all financiers refuse to support the numbers, their spreadsheets and financial software packages prohibit it.

Most $5 billion dollar companies can't even raise $2 billion, let alone a $170m market cap company trying to do so.

The only way I can see this project getting completed is via a 50% buy-in JV from a partner with deep pockets, and it's going to be a long game.
