a cross trade simply means that a broker has traded the line internally between two accounts they have in house without going to the exchange. not uncommon for bigger parcels. generally if a seller has a big line of stock the broker will try and arrange a buyer for the entire line to save having to dribble it into the market and risk moving the price around.
