Not Really its actually a great example. Especially in a PA thread which is pretty much highlighting what could be called a sentiment cycle.

When those type of threads pop up more often then not people are buying at the top of a sentiment cycle.


The smart money is buying at the bottom of a cycle


However, at the end of the day as long as the fundamental analysis was correct and their conviction is strong, As long as they hold through the dips and don't panic sell it kind of becomes irrelevant if they buy at the top or the bottom they should be able to sell for more then which they paid.
