Difference between quoted spot prices and Lynas realised is volume & contract based, and contracts generally written to trailing 90 day prices.
As I understand it a 17% VAT applies to all Sino REO sales but 16% is refunded when the material is used domestically.
You raise an interesting Q, on how the Dragon would treat RE imported from Lynas re VAT.
