Don't read too much into my tad bearish comment. Like any charting analysis often there is good and bad to be found. I was really only commenting on your earlier point, not making more general technical observations. By the way I am no charting guru, I like to mainly use fundamental analysis along with a bit of basic technical analysis. Though I couldn't tell you the difference between a harami or a doji!
Having said that and since you asked, from the basics I understand, the RSI and slow stochastics show the shares are neither overbought or oversold. The stark aspect is the volatility in the price movements which tends to suggest speculators are moving in.
A few bullish points:-
QRX is trading above its 200 day WMA, with the WMA average itself rising.
Cash/market capitalisation is about 13.4%
If you compare QRX v XAO; XJO for the last 6 months, QRX is well ahead of the market.
A few bearish points:-
QRX closed just below its 14 day SMA
The MACD crossed below its 9 day moving average.
Overall the price is about 33% off its 12 month high but on the other hand at about an 135% premium to its low in June 2012. As a long term investor until the August news comes out I am not influenced by the TA, though of course, others may be happy to trade in and out on the volatility that is about in the run up to the news.
