Folks, this company is on very thin ice in my oppinion.
Elroy...in answer to your other post I was suspended for 3 days for posting alternative views on quiktrak.
I vehemently disagree that QTK is a sound company and that it it still has a $380 million dollar contract with China.
We will know for sure in time.
In my opinion though, the company has created a diversion off China and onto potential business in South Africa.
I once held QTK 2 years ago. I bought at 41 cents and sold at 34. Held 100,000 shares and lost a quick $7,000.
This is very small in the scheme of things and very quickly recovered this loss many times over throughout the next year of trading and investing.
However, I do believe its in the best interest of those on a forum to share their thoughts and musings with each others. This is what we are all here for.
Quiktrak has had many opportunities to convince the market that it can persue, acquire, deliver, invoice and receive profit from its business.
Basically, since it had begun, this company went down and failed. It was brought out of receivership by Mark Pallister.
Since then, we have seen many big ideas, deals, contracts and many more hopeful situations.
Not one, not a single one has been executed to the point of finish, ie: being invoiced and paid for...and I am referring to situations such as China, Malaysia and others.
At which point do investors say "Wait up...something is wrong here".
Basically, we are all quite savvy. Most of us have been educated over a few or many years of trading, investing, growing our capital.
Once you come across a company like Quiktrak...you give them the benefit of the doubt for a while.
However, when you see a consistent failure to deliver on every announcement they have promised the goods, and we are talking a 2 year time period to make even $1 dollar profit out of $380 million, then being bombarded with a director being investigated for fraud, directors jumping ship, no delivery on any promises....well you draw the conclusions.
QTK once went into receivership.
In my honest opinion, Quiktrak is very quickly heading back there.
I recently made a lot of phone calls to every south African security company I could find...and I found a lot. Not one has heard of any company called Quiktrak or any of their business. I personally think Quiktrak do not have contracts or business in this country and are continuing to waste shareholders funds.
I also made many enquiries relating to quiktraks business in china.
I currently will not release my information but will go as far as saying that my research indicates that Quiktraks business in china is finished and will not proceed.
I urge anyone who is considering investing, trading or holding shares in this company to seriously consider all their options.
If you do as much research as I have done and continue to do, you will quickly realise what I have realised about this company and their future.
Tread very carefully. I have seen many company's one day just go into a trading halt and 2 days later....."that’s it....we fold".
Seriously....be very careful of quiktrak and buying, holding or contemplating buying or holding shares in this company...it seriously could cost you the amount you consider putting near this company imo.
