The difference between AWE and NWE is so far apart its not funny..
Who is the bug daddy of the basin?
Who is the marrow that is going to to have to sell their soul to be kept in the game?

I will post this from another thread to remind people about the ASX merry go round...

Taken from AllyCats post and not a truer word spoken...

""I take on face value in my heart knowing that the asx would never allow lies to be told to the market"

I hope you get some sort of outcome that helps put things right for you Mitch. You will recover.

IMO, the assumption you make in the quote above is the wrong strategy. Best to presume everything is lies unless you can be absolutely convinced otherwise. But, it is still easy to fall for fairy tales. Just last year I put faith in the qualifications and experience of the competent persons signing off on an announcement to fill the holes in the story the company was promoting = FAIL and embarrassing.

It seems obvious in hindsight to know why CZI was good and PDY was bad, but IMO, it takes years of mistakes to know the difference between good and bad in real time and with money on the line. And if you are going to play the early-bird game to beat the instos in on good news, you need to follow all the stocks in your field of play to give that edge - even if you have never held them. Not sure about the idea about following tips on Hot Copper either.

There are structural flaws with reporting and compliance at the ASX casino. By no means is PDY an isolated case - it is just a spectacular one. I hope ASX and ASIC use this debacle to fix some long established problems. I think burnt punters would be best off going after the directors only, but they'll need some good advice, a succinct angle and decent legal leadership. Fortunately the issues are high profile enough - so hopefully someone reputable will run with it, and ASIC will be onside.

    Good luck."
