For September quarter:
Total sold: 70609 dmt spodumene concentrate
revenue: $35.8m aud ( I have to assume all of this is from the spodumene concentrate because breakdown is not given for tantalite)
revenue per dmt: $507 AUD, or $385 USD (again, assuming is all spodumene). Again, this is significantly lower than the US400-US430 price reported by FastMarkets.cost per dmt: the reports says is between US 320 - 350 dmt, let's say is in between, which gives USD 340, this would be $447 aud at current exchange rate.
I have excluded the following
1) Once off proceed of $173.8m from equity rasing. This is used to purchase Altura.
2) Once off $1.6m of nordic refinancing cost
3) Once off $2.5 short terms loan
4) Unrealised $5.9m in foreign exchange losses.
If we look purely on the revenue vs the normal expenses for a mining company (operating cost, capital cost, financing, payroll, exploration). that quarter itself is losing money despite record volume.
Again, I am a shareholder, just want to have a proper discussion instead of senseless up/down ramping. If you could rectify my calculation, it would be much appreciated.
