i concur with the sentiments here of many posters. I have held mak for a couple of yrs, am a fan of their resources but have not seen the progress by management that i would have liked. As outlined in this qtly
However finance is hard to get and verte group have only had since Oct last yr to find a financier. Any asian investor would want a pretty good deal as they will be stumping up a lot of money for the project. It is hard to find financing situations like Oakagee/murchinsonn metals where a comp like Mitsubishi will fund the development for half the equity in the project.
I noted that another poster mentioned an australian comapny such as BHP as a good jv partner. This sounds like a more realistic idea. I note that in the qtly AD mentions that they are looking at other financing opps out side of verte deal.
Who knows?
Anyhow i will hold my pos at the moment but not really tempted to buy more. long term buy IMHO
