I'm new to this stock, and am having a good look at it before...

I'm new to this stock, and am having a good look at it before possibly investing. My only concern at this stage is my gut feeling that the area doesn't have a solid history of significant economical gold discoveries & recovery. Lots of olden day gold miners have been and gone after significant searches in the region.
What makes you guys so confident that this Co has the right stuff given the ore to date drilling figures haven't been that outstanding.
