Hi I appreciate your response, and yes, that was an assumption, you are quite right. Because you used that term, it was more likely you had assumed the gender of the person was male, otherwise the put down would not have had any sting. Most likely when we insult women, with a gender insult, directed at their gender it will go to age or looks or morals and sometimes hysteria.
