Leading distributor Quadtel Ltd, (ASX: QTL) is pleased to announce to
its shareholders that it was ranked number 26 in the Business Review
    Weekly's Fast 100.

To make the Fast 100, companies had to demonstrate a high average
annual growth rate in the three years to June 30, 2002. The list,
which consists of 83 privately owned companies and 17 listed
companies, is based on research by BRW and Kosmas Smyrnios, the
professor of research at the school of marketing at Melbourne's RMIT
University, and responses to a detailed questionnaire completed by 67
    of the 100 companies.

Companies are ranked according to average annual revenue growth in
the three years to June 30, 2002. They must have fewer than 200
full-time employees and a turnover of more than $250,000 in 1998-99.
In addition, a single customer must not account for more than 50% of
    a company's turnover.

The number of information technology (IT) companies on the Fast 100
jumped from 10 last year to 30 this year. Phil Ruthven, the chairman
of the business information company IBIS World, says "new age"
service businesses such as IT, property and business services (18 of
this year's Fast 100), finance and insurance (11), and communications
(five) represent 72% of the list.

The weighted average revenue growth for the Fast 100 was 73.5%, more
than 10 times Australia's average growth of 7% for 2001-02. Quadtel
Ltd's growth was 101.5% for the same period of time. "This validates
the director's belief that the company is growing from strength to
strength and on target for a solid performance during the forthcoming
year," commented Bruce Ind, CEO of Quadtel Ltd.
