Further to this, I found the following article by NXP which indicates that they are collaborating with Ford to Deliver Next-Generation Connected Car Experiences and Expanded Services
We now also know, compliments of @chapman89 that John Oliver, the Lead Research Scientist for Ford, thinks it would be irresponsible for Ford's AV Lead Imaging Sensor Design Engineer to not use neuromorphic computing ergo it is likely (although unconfirmed) that Ford is planning to use akida in its vehicles especially considering Ford is a confirmed Early Access Program Participant.
My question to the techies on here is whether NXP and Brainchip would need to have some sort of relationship or at least cross over on a Ford project for Ford to be able to successfully use our chip with NXP's processor, or would it be possible for Ford to achieve the desired outcome without our engineering team having to provide NXP with support?
Just trying to create another dot between NXP and Brainchip but don't have the technical skills to do so.
