Have just read through all last night's posts. Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Alex, leaving all the personal stuff aside, you said that you are happy to share information. Great. For my part, I'm more than happy to accept you are a professional in risk management. So, please, why not do us all a favour and put this to rest? Instead of repeatedly asking the question, "Has anyone verified the announcement?", with the ill-disguised inference that all may not be what it seems, why don't you verify the announcement and let us all know the result of your due diligence? It's a simple phone call or e-mail.

I asked you to do this yesterday and...nothing. Several others asked the same and...nothing.

Great leadership and management, risk or otherwise, involves leading by example. Don't ask others to do what you are not prepared to do yourself.

More simply, put up or shut up.
