Quality Advice??

This is the 2nd of numerous masterclasses being held around the country.   Most of the content is sound, especially the presentation from Anna Porter (Suburbanite Property).  But skip to 1.39:20...   Unfortunately Emma & Claire got the wrong advice!  I think they may be getting a visit from the ATO.  
I hope this YBR adviser has good PI insurance.  How did this slip past YBR internal compliance?  Obviously the "experts" don't know their basic tax rules.  Not a great impression for any existing or prospective accountant referral partners that the branches were encouraged to bring along.
