Yesterday and earlier this afternoon (12.01pm) EWC announced:
the well publicised and long awaited 60MW expansion for its Sengkang power station (up from 135 to 195MW). The additional 60 MW to become operational by Sept. 08.
a further 60MW expansion to the same power plant (up from 195MW to 255MW). This second 60MW expansion to be operational by first quarter of 09.
a strategic alliance with ARC with a view to commercialise LNG drilling program in Western Australia.
Since mid 2006, when EWC was able to refinance its acitivities, attracted CPH to become a substantial shareholder, purchased El Paso share of Sengkang gas and power project, is developing its Sengkang gas field (2 x 500,000 tpa LNG trains), building a LNG hub in the Phillipines and entered into o MOU with a vertically integrated Chinese power compnay, EWC has been able to surprise the market with a series of strategic alliances and well thought out, innovative projects.
A company with an extremely bright future and projected revenue and earnings stream which indicate a very much higher share price in years to come.
