I don't know if Bowen is up to the task, but I do know Hockey isn't up to the task.
300k extra jobs over the last two years works out to around the same annual increase as what was created under Labor's reign (around 900k over 6 years).
So job redundancies, businesses closing and poor economic conditions, etc. are putting pressure on the unemployment numbers.
Hockey's get a better job comment highlighted how out of touch he is with Australia as a whole. If Hockey wants to operate in such simplistic terms, then he should create an environment where people can get a better paying job.
