Quantifying downside risks, page-6

I did find this report (google cache link), which looks like good research on branded products, nearly all of it way over my head, but the summery;

"US prescription brands saw sales weighted real list price inflation of 6.5% in 1Q17 down from 10.9% in the year prior quarter, and real net price deflation of 1.2% as compared to 4.1% inflation in the year prior quarter"

I dont understand how pricing works over there, seems very complex, but an important thing for we investors to understand before we can make informed judgements, i need to do some research...
