The market, including QBE, is well down today. We seem to have followed the US down (quite normal) but why is QBE included in the fall? I would have thought that a reduction in quantitative easing woud lead to higher US interest rates and that would actually be a positive for QBE. Am I wrong on this?
In any case, in the long term it must be better for the US markets to have a strong economy rather than a market that only lives on handouts.
