Quantum Energy: Insight legal proceedings successful


Sydney - Thursday - July 24: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Quantum Energy Ltd (ASX:QTM) today announced an update on legal action
by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Insight Oceania Pty Ltd, which operates
the medical distribution business.
Insight had previously advised that Philips Medical Systems was
seeking to terminate the contractual arrangement in relation to the sale
of certain medical products.
As a consequence, Insight commenced legal proceedings to retain
this contract.
These proceedings have now culminated, with the court delivering
a judgment in Insight's favour.
Final orders to this effect will be made on August 1 by the
court, subject to the parties agreeing in any further
mediation/settlement to the contrary.
