This is what is happening in the background away from the pure engineering of a quantum computer. A current quantum computer, possibly with aid from super computers, will solve the error problems itself through machine learning techniques to create algorithyms that will enable computing on a 'noisy' quantum computer. Rather than wait for the noise to become much less through laboratory breakthroughs, machine learning will comes into its own and create solutions that human brains cannot handle the complexity. That seems sense to me and I wonder how many 'think tanks' there are that are capable of doing this work. Have we any of these machine learning companies in Australia or is this technology still in the Universaties?
