I recommend listening to original Mohnish Pabrai video conversations, but this is a condensed look at the idea. "Spawner Companies" are his now favourite type of business. They are asymmetrical compounders. Looking at PPK's strategy, it would be fair to say that management made the decision a couple of years ago to fit this strategy. Anyone second this?
