I think this is bad advice.
Be careful taking advice here. (I know it was written in good faith)
I believe the Options expire on the 30th January 2022.
If I was you and in your position, I would consider selling them 1 Year and 1 day after I bought them to eliminate CGT.
So lets say, you bought them on the 15th December last, I would look at selling them on the 16th December this year
They will still be in the money and you still have over 4 weeks still to sell them (if need be)
May I suggest you talk to a "Professional Advice Giver" here as the outcome may be dire for you, depending on how many Options you need to sell, if you get it wrong.
This is just my opinion, please do your OWN research and due diligence.
