Have a contact in FNQ who says only light rain there, gusts., till yesterday. Its been a "dry cyclone" so far. Looks like there has been a fair amount of rain around Mackay, but nothing huge. Looks pretty much like no washouts or damage. The whole system has moved up towards Cooktown and the southernmost part of it is about Townsville now. there probably has been some disruption to shipping movement around DBCT but only for a few days maybe?
