This is true about the azi and dip..

but!

the geologists get morning reports and so does rox on where the hole is heading.. if it's moving in the wrong direction then this can be altered by using a worm drive or a navigation tool. Just hoping that this is before the ore body.. otherwise you miss out on the core sample..
this control of hole if you're are good driller can be done by speeding up rotation and or adding more weight in order to get these results also.. this is all on the driller and supervisors of the contractor.

either way if the contractor misses the target by certain parameters then Rox should get the hole for free.
