Sorry I do not view production costs in a quarter as a "proxy and good guide" to sales in the next quarter. Production costs in a quarter are not inventory. The June quarter cost of production includes goods that were sold that quarter, given the low production costs in previous quarters. How could you have predicted the jump in sales in the June quarter from a rolling three quarter average of production costs? The plus is we can clearly gear up production quickly in a quarter to meet demand in that quarter if needed.Hopefully that will happen in the USA.
