No. That's exactly right. But it still costs a lot. How much is a lot? Well FAR has talked about a sub 4b spend, but the old hands here think that is light on. I am personally open-minded. I think experienced experts can be biased by what they know, if that makes sense. There is a lot of talk about big discounts on the engineering/equipment side, and that makes sense, given the state of things. But bear in mind that they don't want to under configure the field because they didn't realize just how much oil was down there.

These are normal dilemmas for engineers. CNE has made some encouraging statements about getting to production quickly, with a field design that is scalable. These guys could exceed expectations with some creative work in this area. Bear in mind that in the universal scheme of things, CNE is a few poofteenths bigger than FAR. They share many of our concerns, such as how to fund Development. So they will be flat out in creative solution mode.
