The references to September caught my eye as well. SDL timelines have always suggested that Strategic Partners will be identified before the project feasability study and the environmental and social assessment, which they have stated will be targeted for September 2009. They have indicated that these assessments will be targeted for September.
They are continuing negotiations with strategic partners in the September Quarter, so an announcement on strategic partners by August 31st would be consistent with their original timeline, and also consistent with information from the latest Quarterly report.
