Well you could look at that analogy both ways Satori.... Posidon is a movie where most people die because they are convinced that the ship is unsinkable and it will only be a matter of time till they're rescued.... and those that do manage to survive only just make it out with the shirts on their backs and nothing else.
When the wave hit (junior selling out in a hurry) I was one of those listening to Captain KH in the ballroom telling everyone there was nothing to worry about.
