My thoughts on this point,
Strategic Metallurgy is doing the study for LPD, since i believe SM is an expert in this field they could already have a grant or not, but since they do this for a business I don't think ones needed. Plus GJ is on the BOD.
LIT has the rights for LMAX in WA no point in a grant where you can't build a plant.
But since LPD are planning to build a plant in Canada, close to a copper smelting for cheap acid, good location to buy/transport/sell the feed or byproducts, they could get a grant there.
Anyways, see where this goes hopefully the goals they set thing gets delivered on time with good results.
