Ummm , last time I looked some of our biggest trading partners were not in an up trend . Japs are still lower than 1990 , ndx is still lower than 2000 and same for ftse , so is that an uptrend ?
Those 3 were 3 of Aussies biggest trading partners at one stage and helped set up major trends , do u recall the major boom into 2000? were fish and chip dot com companies were being floated around the world ?
Obviously our markets are rigged to grow higher and some or much of that is called inflation, plus any constituent that doesn't conform to x factor is removed from the index .
From memory u said the same or something similar about my yearly chart ending in July .
Daily , weekly , monthly and even quarterly and yearly charts define a trend where as many folks look at 3 or 6 months of a daily pattern to define a trend . Maybe u could show us some of your work Key instead of trying to find a negative in many posters posts ! It is growing very tiresome as is listening to posters results at the end of the week .
