The word aggregated means to combine small granules to form a larger mass or clump. Unfortunately the large slip on the Eastern side is likely an un-aggregated mess of small particles.
As the slip creeps down due to gravity + water gravity flow it is likely to become less "aggregated" to form silt which requires removal from the pit.
Waste haulage costs have shown to be high; $25 per BCM Mar, $15 per BCM June; yet other similar mines in the region average $6 BCM for waste removal; do the sums my estimate is 1.3M BCM of slip material; however some may be stabilised however the impact on the drainage and the water bore system is not yet defined; also the wet season is not far away....
The size of the slip or impact on the ore body was not defined in the June Quarterly nor has an update been submitted to the ASX; the R & R statement appears unchanged since 2011 yet mining costs have changed remarkably.
