I was going to make the exact same point yesterday but then realised that after venting my own frustrations, it would look contradictory...I was even going to use the same 2 examples!!

But what you say is absolutely correct....Even the blue chips have suffered the same fate..We tend to forget how brutal this market really is.People are scared and any profit is a good one

Having said this, however, I cannot help believing that the ASX operates like no other market in the world. There are too many companies listed which shouldn't be listed...there are too many shares in issue in many of these companies and there are too many incompetent, self interested, greedy and dishonest people running them...This coupled with a hopeless regulator turns the whole market into a bit of a lottery

Until this changes, the ASX's "bottom 2000 companies" will carry on being the plaything of traders and gamblers
