I pull my hair out for years with how bad our comms is. A few years ago I asked what the strategy was and they said the policy was to rely on Twitter and HC. I was pretty shocked but said that was not changing. Not long after many HC'ers went elsewhere!

We were part of a Virtual Investor Conference a few days ago, in the US. The strap line is "present directly to tens of thousands of active investors”. All in US where we trade about $10k per day. Oh, and the event will have cost $5-10k.

We retain Integrous Communications in the States. I estimate cost is about $10-15k per month (going rate for these types). They do nothing to bring potential investors to us, as is apparent from the lack of communication we both complain about.

We pay around $250,000 per year for investor relations/communications (Tony Dawe's salary, Integrous, 3rd party arranged calls, articles and interviews). This is a stink load for which we get remarkably little.

If anyone agrees then please email PDVM. The IR strategy needs an overhaul, a decent one would reap rewards.
