I'm quite impressed with the figures contained in the current quarterly!!! It's not all doom and gloom after all, as costs weres significantly lower than I and many others initially thought.
Adding the cost of production plus royalties we get the cash oulay of approx 20.5m going towards production. Therefore, cash costs were around the $800/oz for the quarter.(not bad considering they produced 17.5% less gold than they forcast for the quarter)
I still believe VRE will produce over 30000 oz per quarter, which will bring relative costs down even further.
Yes, VRE is amazing value at the moment, as it has been significantly de-risked with most areas of production running smoothly and management and staff understanding operations and bronzewing a lot better than they did 9 months ago when it all started. Dec was a make or break month for VRE!!! If they had a month like nov, i seriously doubt they would have been around to see the new year, so hats off to management and staff and all the best for the new year!
