I refer back to the original corporate announcement months ago . The original offers were not invited by IGC . The recent announcement gives the impression that numerous parties are still talking to IGC management . NKP may be the the obvious suitor but I am not so committed that they will be the ultimate buyer .

xstrata have demonstrated many times a willingness to win protracted takeovers . NKP may find itself in a bidding war to attain maximum control of the project .

The first offer may well not be the last and ultimately NKP could be prey themselves .
